Already contemporary Telugu heroes like Jr NTR and Charan have done double roles in their careers and scored blockbusters. Among the present generation, young rebel star is one man who can come up with a commendable show in such dual roles. It seems like he too understood the need of hour and jumped in there.
In fact, hunk hero Prabhas is playing double role in the upcoming magnum opus 'Baahubali' being directed by highly acclaimed SS Rajamouli. One wonders why the hero has taken up two roles in a big mythical flick like this. But it is Rajamouli who made Prabhas play two characters, one named 'Baahubali' while the other one is 'Sivudu'.
Aged seductress Anushka is playing 'Devasena', an accomplice of Baahubali, while young charmer Tamanna took 'Avantika' role, a lover of Sivudu. Some insiders revealed that in fact, Prabhas' Baahubali character is the protagonist, while Sivudu character joins hands with antagonist Ballaladeva played by Rana Daggubati to trouble hero. There is also a talk that Prabhas is playing father and son, but with Anushka and Tamanna's presence that could be ruled out. Maybe if one episode is a flashback episode, then Prabhas might play father and son too. Anyway, two characters on same screen means we could really expect a major difference between their character graphs, and otherwise Rajamouli will not pick same hero for both the roles.
Though Rebel Star's fans will be waiting for two years to watch their favourite heartthrob on silver screen, it is worth waiting as they will see Baahubali and Sivudu entertaining them at the same time. Let us see how far these talks hold well.
