The trend in Bollywood is that every time a big ticket film gears up for release, rumors of link-up between lead pair or cat-fight between actresses are bound to draw immense publicity for the film. On few occasions, the production house or the actors themselves fund the media to circulate some hot gossips for drawing the attention of the audience and in return sell their films.
For Ram Charan's maiden project 'Zanjeer', Nothing has been happening much on the publicity front to record an earth-shattering opening. In fact, Priyanka Chopra was linked with almost all of her co-stars but Cherry is an exception, may be because he is already a married man. On the other hand, PeeCee and Mahie Gill have been given an impression that all is well between them despite acting in the same film and they have been eventually killing the opportunity to generate free publicity.
The promos of the 'Zanjeer' have been partly success and they were actually expected to do much better. Makers were hopeful that something big happens before the release to draw the entire attention of the North Indians towards this high-octane action flick which is said to be a tribute for Amitabh Bachchan. Else, Charan would regret for attempting the remake of a legendary actor.
