Dalam is an action thriller based movie with a naxal backdrop. Andhala Rakshashi movie fame Naveen Chandra and Rangam movie fame Piaa Bajpai playing the lead roles. Kishore who played the role of villian in Allu Arjun’s happy movie and Gabbar Singh Fame Abhimanyu Singh are playing an important role in this movie. Nathalia Kaur is sizzling in an item song. Jeevan Reddy, a former associate of RGV, is directing this movie. M Sumanth Kumar Reddy is producing it and James Vasanthan is composing the music.

Story:

The movie is about a group of Naxalites who want to leave the jungle and wants to lead their lives peacefully in society. Satruvu (Kishore), Abhi (Naveen Chandra) and their dalam of 20 other naxalites are brought to a city jail. The group looks like a vague though there are some known faces in the group likeTagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj and other known faces.

The group surrendered in the hope of good treatment, but, they were cheated by the police and now face the anger of the naxal hating jailer (Harshavardhan). Soon one of them is encountered after being tortured for information. Satruvu is then blackmailed into accepting an offer to operate as a police supported mafia, to get to the criminals to the police.

One deal ends up with Abhi kidnapping Shruti (Piya Bajpai) to get to her dad (a broker of some sort). The group seems to be enjoying their new role and the killing montages, all seems well, until a new police superintendent (Abhimanyu Singh) walks in and kills two guys from the group, and one of them is about to get married so…..you know the old trick of ending a character just when it seems happy. The new superintendent and the tension around the killing of a local MLA drive the dalam back to the forests to escape slaughter. Finally what happened to the group? Did the police catch the Dalam? For all this questions you should watch the movie on the big screen?

The cinematography of the movie is excellent.

The actors Kishore and Naveen Chandra are some what better.

The dialogues of the movie are good.

The back ground of the movie is worthable.

Minus:

The second half of the movie is bad.

The screenplay is not good.

The direction of the movie should be some what better.

Overall:

Dont have any expectations on this movie and you may like the film a little for its clean content. However, it has many similarities with Encounter movie and if you dont like that movie, you wont like this. Also, there are very boring and slow scenes. This is a one time watchable movie. But some good setimental scenes and climax are positives.
