Tinsel town is abuzz with the news of the upcoming nuptials of producer Dil Raju alias Venkatramana Reddy’s only daughter Hanshitha.
The young graduate from the London School of Economics (LSE) is all set to tie the knot with Harshith Reddy, the son of Narsimha Reddy who owns a group of professional colleges. With the wedding scheduled next year, Raju recently arranged a get-together for the couple.
A source close to the family confirms, “Yes, the engagement will take place this December and the wedding is likely to be held next summer. Dil Raju wants to keep it under wraps in order to give the bride and groom some privacy. Since it’s an arranged marriage, he recently had a small get-together for the families at his residence. Both families have given their nod.”
On being contacted, a delighted but concerned Dil Raju urged, “I want it to be a private affair so please give the couple their space.”
The news comes as a surprise to many who were not aware that Dil Raju has a daughter old enough to be married. We hear that Hanshitha has also studied Business Management at Amity Global Business School, Hyderabad. She earlier studied at the city’s Villa Marie Junior College for girls.
In the last decade, Dil Raju has produced many successful films such as Bommarillu, Arya, Dil and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. His upcoming releases include Yevadu and Ramayya Vastavayya. It is being rumoured that Hanshitha will soon take the reins of his production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations.
