While Bollywood filmmakers are making a beeline to bag the remake rights of Telugu films, back home, T-Town directors are looking to cast Bollywood babes in their forthcoming movies. While the trend of importing B-Town actors is not a new in the industry, this season, Tollywood will see at least three leading ladies — Vaani Kapoor, Adah Sharma and Sonal Chauhan— scorching the screen.

Vaani Kapoor

Vaani Kapoor's debut Bollywood film is yet to hit screens. But the lovely lady has been roped in to star opposite Nani in the Tamil/Telugu remake of the popular Bollywood hit film, Band Baaja Baaraat, that starred Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh. The untitled remake needed a fresh face for the female lead and the makers' quest finally came to an end when they zeroed in on the actor. Debutante Gokul Krishna, a protege of Vishnuvardhan, will be wielding the megaphone for the film.

Sonal Chauhan

The long search for the leading lady in Nandamuri Balakrishna's next, kept rumour mills buzzing for quite some time. Names like Vidya Balan, Erica Fernandes and Trisha kept cropping up. But Muzaffarnagar-born actor, Sonal Chauhan, finally walked away with the part. This will be the second-coming for the former beauty pageant winner, who earlier debuted in T-Town with the 2008 romantic comedy, Rainbow, directed by VN Adithya.

"We've roped in Sonal Chauhan to share screen space with Balakrishna. We considered several names, but eventually thought Sonal would suit the character perfectly and we signed her. I cannot reveal much about her role as it's too early to talk about it. But I can tell you, it'll be very interesting and I'm looking forward to it," said Boyapati Sreenu, when asked why he signed the actor for the film. The shooting of the movie has already begun.

Adah Sharma

Adah Sharma is yet another B-Town beauty to make her Tollywood debut this season. The actor, who made an impressive debut in Vikram Bhatt's horror-thriller 1920, is all set to romance Nithiin in his upcoming film Heart Attack, to be directed by Puri Jagannadh. Apparently, the director was impressed with her performance in her debut film and has decided to cast her.

"After considering several names for the female lead opposite Nithiin, we have finalised Adah Sharma as we feel that the role suits her perfectly," said Puri Jagannadh. Incidentally, Adah was supposed to make her T-Town debut with a Nara Rohit film, but the movie is currently on hold, which gave the actor a window to sign another film.
