Nandamuri Balakrishna's political entry in the upcoming general elections is giving scope for internal war in the Telugu Desam party. Reports say, the actor and a senior party leader were at loggerheads over the constituency they wish to contest.
It is learnt that Balakrishna has made up his mind to contest from Mylavaran in 2014 polls and this move has irked the sitting MLA Devineni Uma. To clear the way for the actor, Party has asked Uma to choose either Penamaluru or Nuziveedu. The senior leader, however, is reluctant to leave his constituency and conveyed his opinion to party chief Chandrababu Naidu. For the moment, Naidu has decided to keep the decision regarding Mylavaran candidate on hold.
Initially, Balayya thought of contesting from Gudiwada as NTR's native place Nimmakuru used to be in this constituency. But, the village was later added to Pamarru which is an SC reserved constituency. The results of a secret survey conducted by Balayya's close coterie indicated that it's risky to contest from Gudiwada. As a result, the actor dropped the idea of contesting either from Gudiwada and Pamarru. He is now keen on contesting from Mylavaran in the upcoming polls.
