Can any of movie buffs expect a star hero's film to have a runtime less than 2 hours? Ram Charan's bilingual Zanjeer/Toofan is a big surprise for the audience in terms of duration.
Charan himself has revealed about the length of the film which is just 1 hour 55 minutes and promises that the packaging (including power-packed script, star cast, tight screenplay) is very nice. He went on to say the new version has only retained the soul of the original and other than that everything is quite different.
Apparently, Charan was taken aback when Apoorva Lakhia approached him for the remake of 'Zanjeer' which is a path-braking film of Amitabh Bachchan. It was only after the advice from 'You should reject a film if you didn't like the script, not because you are scared of attempting something new', he had signed his maiden Bollywood flick.
To a question on if he has already signed his second Bollywood flick, Ram Charan said he was offered some really good script and will be taking a final call after the release of 'Zanjeer'.
