Noted Actor Srihari is celebrating his 48th birthday Today and he addressed the media to share his future plans on this occasion. The Sher Khan of Tollywood announced his political future and one of his comments have shocked the ruling Congress.
Srihari claimed to have always believed that one need not be in politics to serve the people but he had a change of mind at last and decided to enter electoral battle in the next general elections. To a question on which party he is going to join, Srihari replied, "I will contest as an Independent. I will try to be a role model in Politics, just like I am in the Cinema field".
Earlier, Srihari moved closely with Jagan and given a hint of joining YSR Congress. As that party got washed out in Telangana region after the recent announcement by centre permitting the division of state, he ruled out the chances of sailing with Yuva Neta. In the current scenario, Everyone expected that he might choose Congress which has become hot favorite after T-declaration. However, the actor stunned the ruling party and media by preferring to contest as Independent candidate from Kukatpally constituency against Lok Satta president and sitting MLA Jayaprakash Narayan.
