Recently, Fans were surprised to see Ajith riding his new super bike BMW S1000RR on the day-time at East Coast Road in Chennai. People have anticipated that the actor might be performing a test drive on his luxury bike.
However, Ajith clarifies his trip isn't meant for a jolly ride but intended to create awareness about safety gear and the prominence of helmet to the people. He planned a road trip with friends of different walks of life to inspire the bikers on safety issues. The actor says although the safety equipment might be expensive, it's much better idea to have a safety gear and helmet instead of shelling out all the hard-earned money after suffering a road accident. When asked if it's comfortable to wear safety gear in hot and humid conditions in the country, he replied its better to sweat than to bleed. Finally, Ajith said his road trip is nostalgic and he still enjoys these little pleasures of life.
