Criticism was taken to new level in Telugu Film Industry long time back. Some criticize films as part of their profession, but some film buffs leave their main work aside and live in criticizing things. But all those folks are finding it tough these days.
The other day when a director published his critical opinion on a recently released movie on Facebook page, people are quick to respond. Many of his followers asked him to first make a successful flick then talk about others. When heroines talk about stuff that is contrast to what they do on silver screen, again these followers are turning their biggest critics. Also, Film Critics are not relieved by fans following them on twitter and facebook. When a critic rates a movie and comments on it, people are comparing his earlier reviews for good and bad films, and hitting him back with sharp accusations. If he gives over rating, then people scold him for favouritism, if under rated they blast him as traitor.
Unable to this criticism from the critics among audiences, some celebs are leaving social sites, while others are trying to block those sea-gull followers. But what celebs including directors, heroines and critics know that is, they should be ready to face criticism while they criticize others.
