In the wake of agitations by separatists and integrationists across the state, The audio launch of Ram Charan's bilingual flick 'Toofan' is going to be held in a low-key manner and that too without the participation of Mega fans. Reports were ripe that the event will he held in a star hotel in the city on 27th of August, just alike the trailer launch which took place few months ago.
Factors that influenced 'Toofan' makers to drop the idea of grand audio launch:
1) The present situation in the state isn't ideal for holding grand audio functions and the Mega family will face a lot of criticism if they hurt the sentiments of the people.
2) In the current scenario, even acquiring the permission from the cops for the venue that will be attended by thousands of fans is very tough.
3) Chiranjeevi isn't in a position to attend the audio launch as that would enrage the agitators and might also prompt them to attack the theatres which are screening 'Toofan'.
'Toofan' will be having a grand Worldwide release on September 6th and makers have no plans of postponing at any cost. Even though there is huge risk in releasing 'Toofan' in Andhra Pradesh at this point of time, Charan can't delay the release as its a bilingual film and it will be tough to get another good release slot for the Hindi version 'Zanjeer'.
