Senior hero and TDP leader Murali Mohan made it clear that his party is not going to withdraw its letter given the centre in favor of the Telangana statehood.
Speaking to reporters, Murali Mohan confirmed TDP willn't be changing its stand on the Telangana issue at any cost. He, however, stressed injustice shouldn't not be done to any region in the state. Claiming that TDP neither have special love for Telangana nor hatred towards Seemandhra, he said people of all the regions were one and the same for the party and equal justice for everyone is what it demands the Centre if division is inevitable. He also came down heavily on the YSR Congress for cornering TDP for political gains and trying to cash in on the ongoing Samaikyandhra movement.
Post the July 30th T- announcement, Murali Mohan accepted the division immediately and shifted his focus to special package for building the new capital in Seemandhra. And now, he openly declares TDP stands by the promise given to Telangana people. The actor-turned-politician seems to be of the opinion that bifurcation is certain to happen and it's better to concentrate on development in Seemandhra region rather than making a hue and cry over the two Telugu states.
