Sonam Kapoor who was in Hyderabad on Saturday for the launch of The Indian branch expressed her desire to romance Mahesh Babu in a Telugu film. "I want to work with Namrata's husband. He is so good looking," she responded, when the media asked which actor does she prefer to be cast opposite.
The fashionista of Bollywood reveals she has been offered a lot of Telugu films in the recent past but turned down all of them as her biggest problem is the Telugu language which she could neither understand nor speak. She, however, promises not to let go an offer which is challenging and her choice of Telugu film will be something like her recent Bollywood hit 'Raanjhanaa'.
Off late, Sonam is in good form with two back-to-back Rs 100 crore films (Raanjhaana and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag). Obviously, she is now the first choice for the scripts where female character has got some prominence. That's the reason behind Bollywood and Tollywood directors queuing up before her door roping her their projects. Now the question is if Sonam will be getting a performance oriented role around which the story revolves in a Telugu film and that too opposite Mahesh Babu. Chances look bleak, but let's be positive for now!
