This is the mega doubt lingering in the minds of millions of fans who are eagerly waiting for the release of 'Thoofan' on September 6th. It looks like Megastar Union Minister Chiranjeevi's resignation has a lot to play in the collections of Charan's upcoming film.
Producer and distributor, Reliance Entertainment is making all arrangements for Thoofan to hit Andhra Pradesh on the said date, while it's Hindi version Zanjeer will hit the world simultaneously. But the serious threats worrying Thoofan's prospects at box office are the hurdles being created by both Seemandhra JAC and OU JAC. While in Telangana region, Telangana Film Chamber has already cleared that they are not going to stop any film, as films and politics are different verticals. But students JAC of T-region are adamant to create troubles for Chiru's family such that the union minister will go back on the idea of advocating Hyderabad as Union Territory.

Enraged by the plans of OUJAC, even Seemandhra JAC is warning that they will allow smooth screening of Thoofan only if Chiru quits his post. Despite repeated appeals from Chiru that he will quit if at all nothing is happening in favour of Seemandhra, JACs from the region do not believe him at all.
The situation became quite tricky for Chiranjeevi. If he quits his post, Thoofan will be completely hurt in Telangana, while it will fly high in Seemandhra. If he fails to quit, both regions will show stars to Charan's movie. Let us see, how Megastar will handle this.
