Some sources actually revealed that the total production cost of Zanjeer/Thoofan is below 45 crores. In that case, just one week is enough for the movie to make double than the investment, even if 60% occupancy rate is reported at all 3500+ screens the movie is being screened.
Actually Ram Charan might also stun Bollywood audiences by collecting a simple 100 Crore on his debut. Till date, no fresher in Hindi circuit receive so much applause for his first movie and that confidence is now allowing trade pundits to predict huge figures for Zanjeer.
But the main ordeal is with Thoofan, the Telugu version of this powerful cop's drama. Though the movie got ready for screening in around 1500 theatres in AP, it looks like the ongoing agitation will not allow the smooth run of this flick.
Cine analysts say that even with these agitations and other hurdles, Thoofan just needs one week time to recover the investment of distributors. Ground reports say that local distributors have already booked more than five theatres in each town for Thoofan, such that they will withstand the tide of agitators and make some money.
