Big hero films releasing on the same day never happens in Tollywood though it has begun to happen in Bollywood. But at a lower rung, the medium budget and small budget films tend to have fierce competition and keep clashing at the box office on the same day with their releases.
Currently, one clash is scheduled to take place on September 13th and 14th. This is in the form of the handsome villain Adivi Sesh at loggerheads with the Manchu boy Manoj. Apparently, Sesh who was seen as a villain in ‘Panjaa’ is now coming with the film ‘Kiss’ on Sep 13th. He has paired up with Priya Banerjee in this one.
Manoj from his end is arriving with ‘Potugadu’ on Sep 14th and this is the remake of the Kannada hit ‘Govindaya Namaha’. It is produced by Lagadapati Sridhar-Sirisha. Now that the battle lines are drawn we have to see whether this ‘Kiss’ to ‘Potugadu’ will create benefits for Adivi Sesh or Manoj at the box office.
