The new found lover boy of Tollywood is issued with summons by Central Excise and Customs department for evasion of Service Tax. Few days ago, even Ramgopal Varma’s officers were also suddenly raided on the same case of Service Tax filing.
The actor is informed to have not yet registered the name for payment of service tax because he need to pay 12.36 per cent of his film contract amounts as service tax. From last two years, nitin hasn’t filed any such. So, he is being summoned for non-payment. Along with nitin, there is a big lot of young heroes and high earning TV artists who are to fall in the same net. Of course, producers are also unwilling to pay this tax seeking clarifications from Union Finance Ministry.
