Now, a Film City in Seemandhra?

Sponsored Links:
With Hyderabad being a hotbed for Telugu Film Industry with a host of film cities such as Ramoji Film City, Annapurna Studios, Ramanaidu studios, Padmalaya Studios, Saradhi Studios, Annapurna Seven Acres and many more film studios, other Seemandhra film producers are now contemplating to push a fresh demand to build a film city.

A group of filmmakers are planning to give a memorandum to AK Anthony urging the Government to establish a film studio (like a government owned studio in Chennai and Mumbai) followed by other infrastructure facilities.

This campaign is being headed by Natti Kumar and 600-odd Seemandhra producers are backing this proposal. They're reportedly going to request Anthony to allot land to new and upcoming producers and avoid the existing big honchos who have established their properties here. They're also apparently going to move the government to allot lands to producers and cine workers.

With all this, it is clear that the UPA has opened a Pandora's box. Isn't it?
