After looking at the overwhelming response for Atharintiki Daredi, No one would dare to release their films in the near future. People began assuming there is no threat for this Family Entertainer till October 10th and Ramayya Vastavayya might be the only opposition. However, one more film has joined the race now.
Priyamani's woman centric film Chandi is releasing on October 4th. The makers are trying to make use of the gap between Atharintiki Daredi and Ramayya Vastavayya as several big films will be releasing from Dussehra. Films like Ramayya Vastavayya, Doosukeltha, Bhai, Masala and Varna will be releasing soon.
Another strategy of Chandi producers is that there is no alternative to Atharintiki Daredi. People who failed to secure tickets for Atharintiki Daredi could now step into Chandi theatres for some time pass.
Chandi is said to be comeback film of Priyamani. Krishnam Raju played a key role and V Samudra directed the movie. Can it compete with a biggie like AD?
