Ram Charan Gets a Big Shock

It is known that noted distribution company has acquired the Overseas theatrical rights of both 'Zanjeer' and 'Toofan'. The distribution house acquired the rights for a whooping amount and even planned a record release. However, they have now decided to opt out of 'Zanjeer'/'Toofan' just two days before the release due to differences with the producers, Reliance. What could be the reason? here it is..

Although the makers of 'Zanjeer/Toofan' have done some aggressive promotions since the past few days, the posters and promos failed to create enough positive buzz and this had a negative impact on the buyers as well (business in majority territories haven't been closed). Even the publicity material released so far has given the impression that the Telugu audience mayn't connect with the movie due to the nativity factor.

As a result, Overseas distributor has held discussions with the Reliance asking for a bargain in price. The proposal has been turned down by Reliance and this prompted the distribution house to opt out. Now, Reliance is planning to release the bilingual in Overseas on their own.

The sudden change in the distributor in the last minute is a big shock to Ram Charan who expected 'Zanjeer'/'Toofan' to make a moolah at Overseas Box Office due to different factors like wide release and no big Telugu films released in the recent past. Can Reliance close the business in this short gap?
