With Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Attarintiki Daaredi hasn't hit the screens due to prevailing socio-political conditions in the state, the Gabbar Singh star has got some time to look after into his up next project, a franchise to Gabbar Singh. Pawan is now busy finalizing lead lady of the film directed by Sampath Nandi.
Although the buzz has it that Pawan is going to rope in a Bollywood heroine, going by latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor's ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone is the competitor who has more chances to win this race. While the other two contenders in the race are Sonakshi Sinha and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Well, compared to latter heroines, we hear that Deepika has an edge as she is on a roll with her recent blockbuster Chennai Express which set the box office collections on fire.
While Kajal was the first consideration for this role, she has been opted out of the project. Still, it's not clear that who will be Pawan's lady in Gabbar Singh 2. The makers have locked the title Gabbar Singh 2 and we hear unless there is no legal issues, this title will be finalized. Pawan's close aid Sarath Marar will produce the film.
