'Zanjeer' director Apoorva Lakhia and Tollywood's Sher Khan Srihari have become close buddies while shooting for 'Toofan'. Now, the bonding has gone to the extent that the filmmaker has expressed his wish to marry his friend. Speaking at the press meet, he told, "I haven't seen a person like Srihari who could sacrifice his life for friendship in my life. If I am a woman, I would have surely married him (he smiles).".
Apoorva revealed that Charan has worked so hard for 'Zanjeer' and audience will come to know about his acting calibre with this movie. "Before 'Zanjeer', Amitabh is one among the other heroes in Bollywood. The angry young man role in cop flick earned him stardom. Ram Charan might be a top star in Telugu, but 'Zanjeer' is his first film in Bollywood and that factor will work in our favor as people come to theatres with less expectations. Charan has done a terrific job and audience will accept he is a good actor after this movie," he quotes.
Chiranjeevi is very much impressed with the way 'Zanjeer' has shaped up and gave a tight hug to Apoorva Lakhia after watching the rushes. Usually, Megastar would suggest few corrections for every film but he was so happy with the bilingual that no such thing has happened.
