Hero Srihari passed away in Mumbai while undergoing a treatment in Mumbai's Leelavati Hospital for a liver ailment. His was last seen by public in Zanjeer audio function and some say that he was looking weak back then. His last movie as a hero is “Police Game” and as a supporting actor is Kameena (which is on screen).
Born and brought up in Balanagar, Hyderabad, he is one of the most well known actors in Telugu film industry. Started his career as a stunt fighter and subsequently gained popularity doing lead roles and also as a comedy villain. His family consists of heroine Disco Shanti, two sons and one daughter. Unfortunately he lost his daughter, Akshara, at the age of four months. Though not in limelight he has contributed enormously to Telugu Film Industry.
Apart from this, he in the remembrance of his daughter he started the Akshara Foundation. He also adopted four villages in Medchal. He was also Awarded Nandi awards for Best Supporting Actor in 2005 for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award (Telugu) in 2005 for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.
It is hard to believe that Srihari garu passed away and may his soul rest in peace.
