'In my life there are many shocking incidents. During my early years, I tried to attempt suicide a couple of times', said legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, while revealing about his cancer thing today. No doubt, one will wonder why a brave and strong heart like ANR will attempt any such.
'During my initial days in Film Industry, there are some rumours about me in various cinema papers. They wrote about me in a funny manner. I went to Marina Beach in Chennai to commit suicide', says Akkineni, before adding that he stopped in the middle after water level touched his knees. This incident occurred a couple of times in his life, but on the second time he realized the key aspect of life. 'If I die, those rumours will come true. At that point I realized that there is no point in dying without achieving anything', he stressed. ANR pointed out that from that day he never got low of self-confidence, and he is happy to share any news with his fans. Before revealing about his cancer, and the way it will get diagnosed in the coming days, the legendary actor boosted self-confidence in this way to media folks also.
If we have to read history and theory of how to survive adverse situations and how to stay stubborn, then it is better to read ANR's life rather searching meticulously on internet. At a time when the whole of Tollywood is expecting to see ANR in 'Manam', the way he revealed cancer news to fans is a big hit on the head, but still ANR has won our hearts by his thought provoking lines.
