Raghumudri Sri Hari @ Srihari (49), a popular film artist of Tollywood. Born on August 15, 1964 at Hyderabad, Srihari entered into the Telugu film industry as a stunt master. Later he played in several films as a villain and comedy villain. Later he became a hero with the film ‘Police’. Unfortunately, his late film ‘Police Game’ is still on sets,while another film ‘Thoofan’ (the remake of Bollywood hit film Zanjeer in Telugu. His fans and the Tollywood had recognised him as Real Star and he stood by his title during action scenes in many films.
Srihari married Disco Shanti, another film artist (who played as vamp and item dancer in many films). They have two sons and a daughter Akshara. Recently, his daughter Akshara too passed away and Srihari had started an NGO named Akshara Foundation and adopted four villages in Medchal and developed them by providing all kinds of infrastructure there. In his life time, Srihari played in around 100 films of which 97 were completed and three are on sets.
After the hero roles started evading, Srihari started playing character artiste roles. Many films in which Srihari played the roles of a character artist have become big hits and it had become a sentiment in Tollywood that those films in which Srihari would play would become a big hit. With his death, the Tollywood had lost a talented artist. The entire Telugu film industry expressed shock with the news of his sudden demise.
