Director Ram Gopal Varma’s protege, Sri Praveen produced a film in his own direction on the banner of Sri Karunalayam Productions. Presented by Baby Manaswini, the film ‘Kalicharan’ has Krishna Chaitanya in the title role and Chandini has paired the hero for this film.
The producer-cum-director made efforts to release the film film across the globe on November 8. The film unit says, “It is a real life incident that happened in Mahbubnagar, in 1980. All the action scenes, climax scenes would be very enthralling. Krishna Chaitanya was introduced to the film industry as one of the heroes in the movie ‘Sneha Geetam’. However, with the movie ‘Kalicharan’ he would settle in the Telugu film industry as an individual hero. The film has raised the expectations in the industry and also among the audiences.”
Pankaj, Kavita, Nagineedu, Rao Ramesh and others are in the cast. Music is by Nandan Raj, PRO is Vamsi-Sekhar, lyrics are by Vanamali-Sadachandra, camera is by Satish Mutyala and Viswa Devabattula, while production and direction are by Sri Praveen.
