Piracy is literally killing the movie industry. Earlier piracy used to show its ugly face 3-4 days after the movie release, lately even before the movie is released piracy exponents have been releasing movie on internet and making the movie suicide literally. This is not killing the producers but indeed several families dependant on the making of a movie. This was said by Ramayya Vastavayya producer Dil Raju at a press meet he called sometime back in Hyderabad.

NTR, Samantha, Shruti Hasan starred in the Harish Shankar directorial and the AP Film Chamber has been working on how to curb piracy of Ramayya.

Dil Raju’s team worked hard and have tracked out people responsible for pirating movies and published the 22 people involved in piracy. The names of these people were also sent to police stations and the police were plunged into action to take them into custody. Their pictures were put at all theaters and the producer requested people to duly report to the police if they see any of these at the theaters or resorting to piracy to help save movie from piracy.

Director Harish Shankar also spoke about piracy and how it affects industry. He urged movie enthusiasts to kill piracy and give life to cinema.
