We did talk about the many similarities Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu share, on and off the screen and how similar these two actors personalities are!
But when seen closely, there is one striking difference between these two actors, i.e; Box Office records! We see one actor who is keener about tweeting his box office records every time, and on the other hand the other actor is completely not interested in talking about the collections at all! After Pokiri, Mahesh babu has got a huge fan base and his records for this movie have been outstanding.
It helped him set the new bench mark at the Tollywood market, which was unbreakable for a while, until Ram Charan came with his movie, Magadheera, which till date is the highest grosser in Telugu Film Industry’s history! But, after Pokiri, Mahesh has got himself in a shell, and gave three back to back duds in the name of Athidi, Sainikudu and Khaleja!
His sudden downfall after Pokiri was worrying for his fans as they were keen to see his success at the box office again, which would beat Magadheera and get back to his top position at the box office. But it did not happen even with his blockbusters like Dookudu and Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu! Both these movies are considered as hits, but did not reach to the point where Mahesh’s fans were hoping them to! Right after Dookudu completed its production; Mahesh was seen tweeting about how this movie will break all the records ad thanking director Srinu Vytla for the same!
Many movie buffs are miffed with his ‘I want to break all the records’ attitude every time. On the other hand these is PAWAN Kalyan who had to struggle till 2012, until he delivered Gabbar Singh, which did break many records, but he requested the director and producer of this movie not to disclose any such statistics, because he feels it will only disrupt the harmony amongst the fans of the heroes!
Indeed he was right, many fans keep arguing/fighting on their favourite heroes market, in forums, communities and all, wasting their own time! So, we think heroes should concentrate on their acting and remuneration part in their movies and leave the box office collections to the producers and the production staff to talk about. Are you reading Mahesh?
