NTR, Samantha and Shruti Hassan starrer Ramayya vastavayya (RV) has created an all time record in overseas to be the biggest release with over 130 screens.
RV premier shows to be held in record location , Efforts of distributor MYthri films USA, has to be appreciated by having premiers in large number of screens in overseas for an ‘A’ rated film .
According to latest initial reports , RV has collected a record gross of around $156k from reported 64 locations at screen average of $2437 from premier shows from limited screens .
Have to wait whether it reaches the magic figure of 1 Million and cross his own records set by his previous release Baadshah.
Gabbar Singh fame Harish Shankar 's latest directorial Ramayya Vasthavayya, which hit the screens today after a couple of weeks delay, has received an earth-shattering opening at the ticket counters across the globe. As per early trends, the Junior NTR , Samantha and Shruti Hassan starrer will do a record breaking collection at the Box Office on the first day. It will become the biggest opener for NTR.

With its advancing ticket booking opened on Wednesday, Ramayya Vasthavayya has had huge amount for all the shows on its opening day. The screening of the Junior NTR, Samantha and Shruti Hassan starrer began a few hours before the usual timing. The movie ran to packed houses in the morning and matinee shows. It registered almost 100% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes.
While film critics gave Ramayya Vasthavayya mixed reviews, viewers have given it thumbs up. A good word of mouth is expected to take its business upwards in the evening and night shows. After seeing early trends, trade experts feel that the movie will do fantastic collection at the Box Office on the first day and beat the record of Junior NTR's previous release Baadshah.

Harish understands heroes so well that he makes the best presentation of their strengths. 1st half is very good with a nice interval block

Jalapathy Gudelli @JalapathyG Ramayya Vastavayya: Typical revenge drama. First half is breezy but second half (esp.climax sequence) is total letdown. Liked NTR. In scenes involving him, Samantha and Rohini Hattangadi, he was hilarious.
