While rumors of the pair’s affair have been circulating for quite some time now, the duo have simply maintained that the rumors are based simply on their on-screen chemistry and that there are no real basis for such speculation and rumors that are rampant in the media.
With Tollywood fans looking forward eagerly to an official announcement of a relationship between the two, the duo were seen getting engaged in a lavish ceremony albeit it was on the sets of the movie “Baahubali”.
Shot on a specially designed set in Ramoji Film City, the sequence shows Prabhas and Anushka dressed in traditional attire amidst a lavish setting with the scene also featuring cast members Rana and Ramya Krishna.
What makes the scene all the most impressive, apart from the intricate romantic sequences between the duo prepared by director Rajamouli, is the fact that this single scene cost a staggering Rs 2.5 Crore to film!
Of course, the bill for the pricey shoot and the lavish set was footed by Arka Media Works, the banner responsible for the production of the film under Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda.
The soundtrack for the film is composed by Keeravani and is already being dubbed a hit. Baahubali is still being shot and the film is expected to hit cinemas in the early half of next year only.
