Starlet Poonam Pandey, who is famous for being her own trumpet, has once again hogged the limelight with her assertion that that she has been paid a whopping Rs 5 crore to shake a leg in a Kannada movie.
Poonam, who is always in the news for her bold pictures and comments that the babe uploads regularly on Twitter, claims that she has bagged a hefty deal for doing an item song in a Kannada movie.
“I am not revealing what I got. But yes, when I heard the money that they were offering, I kind of fell back. I reeled back and gulped. I wondered if I had heard right. ‘Utne paise toh heroines ko bhi nahin milte’,” Poonam chuckled on asking about the whopping amount.
Though Poonam confessed that she had reservations about being branded an item girl so early, she seems to be happy with her decision.

“After Nashaa where I had the author-backed central role, I didn’t want to do just a song-and-dance. But like I said, the money for that one number was more than what heroines get in Bollywood. Also, the choreographer was the veteran Chinni Prakash. Every top heroine in Bollywood has worked with him,” she said in an interview given to a news agency.
After her film Nasha flopped at the box-office, the sultry seductress of Bollywood has apparently been trying every trick to stay in her fans’ memory. She has done everything to be noticed by the people starting from uploading semi-nude pics on Twitter to giving racy comments.
