Tollywood at once grabbed attention, with the uncovered rape attempt on a junior anchor of Tollywood.The anchor was invited for a wedding for anchoring and to sing for some songs,where she was harassed by some drunkards.
The anchor, who has performed in various functions,was performing at a wedding party held in West Godavari.After her performance, she was given the special guest room to take rest.In the middle of the night, some guests,under influence of alcohol attempted to forcefully enter her room and rape her.But with some fortunate,she ran away from them.
The drunkards and the sponsors of the wedding were quick to apologise and also requested her not to press charges.But the anchor filed a case in the near by police station.The police have filed a case on receiving a complaint from the victim yesterday.The case has been filed under Nirbhaya act.
