If the buzz from the film circles is to be believed, Raviteja is all set to play Gona Ganna Reddy character in upcoming Gunasekhar's period drama 'Rudrama Devi'. Anushka is playing the lead role in this film and Guna Sekhar tried to get Mahesh Babu's dates for playing a cameo in Rudrama Devi.
However, Superstar smoothly rejected the offer from his good friend and said that he won't be free until Aagadu shooting finishes. After repeated attempts to get a green signal from Mahesh Babu, Gunasekhar has finally given up and searching for other options. As per grapevine he has met Raviteja and asked him to do Gona Ganna Reddy character.
Raviteja may do this film as he has good relations with Gunasekhar from early days of his career as an assistant director. Raviteja did the lead role in Gunasekhar's previous film Nippu, which was a colossal flop. Daggubati Rana is also doing a special role in Rudrama Devi, which is making buzz among the film as well as trade circles.
