After reportedly parting ways with Pawan Kalyan, his better half Renu Desai is back to her roots -- Marathi filmdom. And she ventured into film production which is common knowledge by now.
The latest is her maiden production Mangalashtak Once More got released recently and opened to unanimous positive response. Despite getting a thumbs up from critics, we hear, Renu has to go a long way to get commercial success.
Presently, the movie is facing obstacles like distribution problems. Naturally, the one question that is popping up in everyone’s mind is – is this really needed for Renu, a mother of two kids, at this juncture? Well, like Pawan, Renu Desai also has ambitions to prove herself.
In the past, Renu proved her acting mettle with films like Badri, Johnny and even worked as a stylist, costume designer for various films of Pawan Kalyan.
Yet all along, she was in the shadow of Pawan and didn’t get her due credit. And now she wants to make a mark for herself. She apparently wants to be recognised as Renu Desai and not as Pawan Kalyan's wife.
Keeping these issues aside, the big question is whether Pawan Kalyan is aware of Renu's plight? Can't Pawan Kalyan, who is known to have a big heart and has friends across all film industries, step in and help her out from distribution woes? Pawan, are you reading?
