It can be said that there is always a love and hate relationship between Tollywood and Kollywood regarding many things.
The key area of difference rises in the flavor of films made in both industries. This time, it is the turn of the Kollywood folks who are busy blasting the Tollywood critics to bits. This is due to the Tamil film ‘Irandaam Ulagam’ which got released in a dubbed version as ‘Varna’ here.
The Telugu critics came down heavily on the film and did not exceed 1.5 in their ratings. However, the Tamil Thambis are offended by it. They say “These Telugu critics have no taste, it is a classic masterpiece.”
They are stating “Always they want mass masala entertainers with punch dialogues and noisy songs. They don’t like quality and top range subjects which are unique. They don’t understand depth of some genres. Their brains and intelligence is less.” Well, the Telugu critics are now preparing their counter attack on them so let us see where this goes.
