Aarushi Talwar's murder case has been a big sensation. A 14-year-old girl and her servant getting murdered on the same day, mystery element, five year trail and court sentencing the parents of the girl to life term on charges of committing the crime surely draws the attention of filmmakers.
Director Manish Gupta of Rahasya fame has already made a film on Aarushi murder case and it is slated for release in March 2014. Recently, a Hollywood director has offered Rs 5 crore royalty to the parents of the girl for their consent to make a film.
However, Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur have made it clear through their lawyer that legal action will be taken on people who make any film or release a film on their daughter's murder without their approval. The statement was released after they came to know through media reports that several National and Hollywood filmmakers are trying to make money using their daughter whom they loved so much.
