Harish Shankar Compares 'Ramayya Vasthavayya' with 'Gabbar Singh'

The name of Harish Shankar rose to sudden stardom with one film of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ In fact, he was glorified to the range of a number one star director, thanks to the image of Power Star which rocked the BO.

His celebrity status skyrocketed and became the most wanted director of tinsel town. However, after the debacle of Ramayya Vastavayya (RV), he became the most feared director. But the debacle of NTR starrer RV made him  went low and he was highly criticized for his pathetic work for the movie  A single flop turned his career upside down.


Now Harish came out and openly spoke about the movie result and Harish Shankar confesses that his film Ramayya Vastavayya is indeed a flop. He also says that he is only responsible for the film’s failure. 

He even compared RV with GS and  feels that  RV was not that bad after all.

“I didn’t expect that much success for GS. It got more hype and success than it truly deserved. In contrast RV got more bad publicity than it actually deserved. I accept both the outcomes,” says Harish.

He also tried to say that the media played a big role in the failure of RV.Before the release of Ramayya Vastavayya, Harish Shankar made some controversial comments on  media and seems the director has finally realized the power of media in today’s generation .
