Tollywood actor Manchu Manoj, son of film actor Mohan Babu, on Saturday offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala during VIP break darshan.
Temple authorities arranged for his stay and darshan. Talking to reporters after offering prayers, Manoj said that he came to visit Venkateswara as he recovered swiftly post his accident on Outer Ring Road (ORR) road on December 8. He added that he escaped major injuries because of the Lord's blessings.
Heavy crowd gathered in the temple premises to catch a glimpse of the star. Manchu Manoj sustained injuries when the SUV in which he was traveling overturned on the ORR road between Narsingi and Rajendranagar crossroads. The actor was going to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad from Jubilee Hills when the accident occurred.
