Tamil star Suriya has a decent market (Rs 15 crore) in Tollywood and he is only next to Superstar Rajinikanth (Rs 30 crore) in AP. Now, this versatile actor is planning to conquer the Telugu Box Office.
Apparently, Suriya has straight Telugu flick which will be on the sets from August 2014 and the biggie would be produced under Studio Green banner. KE Gnanavel Raja (Studio Green)who is a relative of Suriya and already produced several films with the star made the news official at a recent event.
"A lot of people have been asking us when will be Suriya doing a straight Telugu flick. The project has been confirmed and it will be directed by a top Telugu filmmaker," he declared.
Suriya was supposed to star in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual of Businessman but the project got cancelled and the offer finally reached Mahesh Babu.
As of now, Suriya is working for Lingusamy's flick Rowdy in which Samantha plays the female lead. Soon, he will be working with Venkat Prabhu's (Gambler, Biryani fame) project. Straight Telugu flick will be only after the completion of these two biggies.
