Tollywood film industry has specialist actors who are from all part of the world. Even though Tollywood imports female leads and supporting actors, the heroes in the Tollywood film will be from Andhra Pradesh itself. From the past few years, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna tried for No.1 position in Tollywood.
Soon after Chiru left the zone, Balayya lost interest in competition. Even though the young heroes are moving ahead with good pace, they were not able to fill the No.1 place. It is known that Chiru has the record of standing in No.1 position in India in 1992 with 1.25 Crores remuneration. Amithab too got defeated before Chiru.
But now, such situation is not at all seen in Tollywood. Bollywood heroes are taking 50 Crores plus remuneration while Tollywood heroes are still in 20 Crores range. Fans of Megastar say that the No.1 position turned vacant soon after the Chiru left the film arena.
