One of the posters of 1 Nenokkadine has been termed regressive by leading heroine Samantha and that made quite a sensation on social networking websites. Even Sekhar Kammula called it regressive and condemned the way of showing a woman in films. Mahesh Babu admitted that it was a mistake to release that poster.
Mahesh said that it won't look regressive on screen as the shot is in sync with the lyrics. What about the girl who did that bit has to say about it? Kriti Sanon says that it is not a regressive poster and said that she wouldn't do anything that shows women in a cheap manner.
'I would never do anything that would disrespect women in any manner. The shot used in the poster is part of a song and once you watch the song, you will understand that it does not disrespect women. It goes with the lyrics and that's the reason I did it. Making that the poster was a creative call,' Kriti told in an interview.
Interestingly neither Mahesh nor Kriti were offended by Samantha's comments. But fans of the superstar didn't take them lightly and gave an earful to Samantha.
