It seems NTR is getting scared of new directors. Film Nagar says this is visible after his much anticipated film Ramayya Vastavayya under Harish Shankar's direction turned out to be a disaster at the box office.
Earlier NTR gave green signal to Vakkantam Vamsi who penned scripts for films like Kick and Oosaravelli after his story floored him. Vamsi even prepared script for the film. However now in the changed circumstances NTR many say is scared of taking that huge risk of starring under a new comer Vamsi's direction.
Currently NTR is starring in Rabhasa under the direction of Santosh Srinivas. Rabhasa starring Samantha, Praneetha is progressing at brisk pace. Thaman is the music director for the film produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. Now it has to be seen whether NTR finally goes ahead with Vamsi's project or put it in the closet. He is also in discussions with Sukumar and Trivikram for his next projects.
