Yamadonga girl Mamta Mohandas has finally divorced with her husband Prajith Padmanabhan whom she had loved and was in a relation. Mamta got engaged to Bahrain-based businessman and her childhood friend Prajith on Nov 11, 2011. The duo got married Dec 28 in the same year at Kozhikode.
However, did not go well and they started living separately. The two filed for the divorce petition in January this year. She worked with Malayalam superstars Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi and Jayaram. She also teamed up with Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna (King), Venkatesh (Chintakayala Ravi) and Jr NTR (Yama Donga).
Meanwhile, Mamta is a cancer survivour as she suffered from Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2010. Although she overcame that trauma through her positive energy and confidence, she recently admitted that there is a relapse of cancer in her in April this year, but she assured that she is undergoing treatment and says she will pass. Now, with her marriage broken, this is another set back in the personal life of 27-yr-old actress. Of late, Mamta has been away from Tollywood.
