The pretty Tollywood girl Neelam Upadhyay’s first film, Seivadhu Seriye, which has been in the making for quite some time now, looks like it will soon hit the screens. The film, which has been rechristened Unnodu Oru Naal, has Arjun Vijayaraghavan, Gibran and Neelam in the lead with Durai Karthikeyan directing. Sadly, Durai was killed in an accident recently and producer Arun Manickam wants to release the movie at the earliest since the late director had completed the film.
The buzz is that it has a daring theme and Neelam’s character is bold, requiring her to be part of a few steamy scenes, including a kissing scene.
Sources say that Neelam plays Priya who initially dates Madhav (Arjun), but later ditches him to marry his friend, Karthik (Gibran). A depressed Madhav goes abroad and returns to the city after a few months — to once again lure the woman he loved. “The film imparts a message about the influence of Western culture on our youth who indulge in activities that are hostile to morality and the impact this has on their lives,” says Arun.
