With the whole state got surprised with Congress party's bifurcation call, even Tollywood is experiencing some aftershocks. Though few directors like N Shankar have come out publicly to say that they are starting a Telangana Film Chamber and Telangna film council, many celebs are not interested to comment about it. Many celebs who endorse Loksatta and tweet a lot about Anna Hazare are not even poking their head into Telangana issue. If any media tries to ask them about their opinion on bifurcation, all they do is simply ignoring such phone calls. The reason is simple.
If a celebrity opens mouth about his stand, then he will lose fans from either of the one region among Telangana and Andhra. Though there are some genuine demands on both sides, our celebs can't endorse them because they fear losing business. How selfish, aren't they?
