Finally, Union Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi has given up his Union Territory demand for unknown reasons, and has now started singing the tune of United Andhra Pradesh. After addressing UT status for Hyderabad for a while, it looks like Megastar felt some strong vibes against his wish and changed his stance finally.
Megastar Chiranjeevi confirmed in Delhi today rather indirectly that he is not going to advocate any Union Territory status for Hyderabad. 'There is no proposal like Union Territory governed by centre or something, we (Seemandrha MPs, Ministers) all are demanding to keep state united only', said Chiru, shocking media people who are always hearing the word UT from the minister’s mouth.

'We are working according to the guidelines and desires of public. All seemandhra people are demanding Samaikyandhra now and so we have to follow that', added Chiru, confirming that politicians these days should act according to their peoples wishes. But why this sudden turn in Chiru's mind? What is our Megastar really thinking at the moment, by ditching his Union Territory idea?
Many say that Chiru has by now realized that making Hyderabad into a Centre governed region will not help either Andhra people or Telanganites. It will further loot the income from this region into the pockets of Central Government, but doesn't benefit locals. Seemandra people are now breathing some relief, with Chiru joining their chorus but still they are particular about his resignation.
