“Before my marriage, I faced some accusations on me. Though I am responsible for it, people had made me a scapegoat. I could not bear those accusations and decided to commit suicide. During that time, I was in Chennai, so I went straight to the Marina Beach. After going knee-deep into the sea, I got frightened and returned home. After a few days, again I decided firmly to commit suicide and went to the sea again. While going into the sea, I got a thought that why should I die? If someone blamed me, why should I die? Let me prove that I did no wrong! I returned again. If I had died at that time, I would have lost many things in my life. Later, I underwent a heart surgery.
Everyone thought that I would live only for a few years. I got life for more than 25 years. All this is due to my will power. Now, the doctors say that I am suffering from cancer. I would overcome this with the blessings of my fans,” say Akkineni with courage.
All his above thoughts were revealed during the press meet of Akkineni on Saturday. Akkineni’s will power has saved him from many problems. Anyways, he is not just a reel hero but an actual hero in life!
