Superstar Mahesh is now focusing on his family business again. Film industry is abuzz that the Dookudu star wants to revive that studio again. But here comes the big twist to this idea.
Mahesh wants to setup a new film studio in Vizag, the fast growing hub of film making in Andhra region. Though it is not clear if the name will be ‘Padmayala Studios’ or not, Mahesh is heard in talks with real-estate agents to grab lands first in Visakhapatnam.
After the recent developments in the state, bodies such as Telangana Cinema Force and Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce have come up. Due to this, many film personalities foresee uncertainty and feel that the future of Tollywood is bleak.
It is a known fact that Ramanaidu Studios have already started their branch in Vizag and many other film studios are expected to start operations there.
This seems to have prompted Mahesh and Namrata to look to Vizag. They are said to be keen on investing there as it is the right time to buy property in Seemandhra. The government is planning to set up IIT and other premier institutes in the region to promote development.
Considering that Mahesh is one of the highest paid stars in Telugu who does a wide range of endorsements and is a brand ambassador for leading brands, he is ready to shell out huge amount for property.
