Many small budget films were to release this week, prior to the big releases, including Pawan’s ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ and NTR’s ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’. But as ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ was leaked on the Internet, the makers have decided to bring the release forward by a week.
This has put the makers of small budget film makers in a dilemma. They are not sure if they should go ahead and release their films along with the big ones.
First to opt out of the race is Suresh productions; though it is a big banner, it had produced a small film ‘Nenem Chinnapillana’ with a relatively new cast and has decided to postpone the release of the film. It was to be released on September 27.
The other small films that could get postponed because of the release of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ are Sundeep Kishan’s ‘DK Bose’, Nara Rohit’s ‘Shankar’ and Prince’s ‘Manasuni Maya Cheyake’. The confusion for these films will persist in the coming few weeks as many big budget releases are lined up, starting with NTR’s ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’, Ram Charans’s ‘Yevadu’, Nagarjuna’s ‘Bhai’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Autonagar Surya’.
