Power Star pawan kalyan's debut film 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi' was released on 11th October,1996 and completed 17 years on 11th October,2013. Pawan kalyan's real name 'Kalyan' was seen in the titles of the movie. Padma Vibhushan Dr.Akkineni Nageswara Rao's granddaughter, Supriya( Sumanth's sister) paired up with pawan kalyan in this movie. Koti composed the music of the movie. Late director EVV Satyanarayana directed this movie. Allu Aravind produced this movie on Geetha Arts.
The movie stood as an average grosser at the box office. The film ran 50 days in 32 direct centers( Nizam-2, Ceded-8, Guntur-4, Krishna-3, WG-5, EG-5 and Vizag-5) while 100 days in two direct centers( Guntur- Balabhaskar and Kurnool-Lakshmi). One month prior to the release of the movie, there were 24 sheets wall poster hoardings appeared showing pawan kalyan's photo and the words, 'EVAREE ABBAYI'. The hoardings generated much curiosity among the people. Later, the makers themselves gave the answer in the titles of the movie as, 'ITHADEY MANA KALYAN'. pawan kalyan's terrific stunts and his martial arts skills are seen in the movie.
None know about Pawan kalyan 17 years back. But today he is ruling the TFI with a great fan following. None is his competitor. He is Competing with himself not to attain fake collection records but genuine fans who can even give their every thing for him.
